Noise Abatement

To minimize noise at unreasonable hours, our Range strictly limits shooting to only between the hours of 9AM and 5PM every day. Sometimes gunfire may be heard at other times from the Santa Clara County Peace Officers' Association range approximately 0.75 mile east of our Range, or from the Sunnyvale Rod and Gun Club range approximately 4.5 miles north by northeast.

Wildlife Conservation

The Range provides habitat and protection for local wildlife including deer, birds, and lizards.

If and when these beautiful creatures happen to venture near an active shooting range, their locations are monitored by Range staff, and "cease fire" is called to stop all shooting until the wildlife passes.
